RAY J. SPEAKS OUT ON DRUG CLAIMS

Earlier this week in Dish, I told you about Ray J. getting the boot from the Hyatt in D.C. after staff claimed he had drugs in his room… well now Ray J is telling his side. He says the claims made by the staff are “defamatory” and were only an attempt to get attention for the hotel. He also says he “never” had any drug on him. To prove it he points out that “police were called” and if he had anything illegal, he “would have been arrested.” By the way… he also saying he’s thinking about suing! (what a surprise?!?) 

FIDDY’S HOUSE GOES UP IN FLAMES

Something fishy’s going down at 50 Cent’s house. A raging fire broke out at a house owned by 50 early this morning, and the local fire department says it’s all “highly suspicious.” Six people, including the rapper’s ex Shaniqua Tompkins and their 10-year-old son Marquise, were in the house when the blaze started around 5 am this morning. They were all transported to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation. The house has been in the middle of a bitter dispute between Fiddy and Tompkin… he tried to evict her and his son from the house a few months, demanding she pay rent to stay. JUDGE SAYS BRIT’S NOT READY

Yesterday, a judge determined that Britney Spears is still not well enough to take part in her conservatorship case. He said that Spears’ doctor “wants to do additional testing in the not distant future,” so Brit”can’t participate in any meaningful way in any court proceedings.” Hey Britney… don’t let this discourage you though!! You’re doing great! Stay strong!

HAS ANGELINA GIVEN BIRTH? “Entertainment Tonight” is reporting that Angelina Jolie has given birth to her and Brad Pitt’s twins… But People Magazine says they’re wrong and Jolie is still pregnant. Who to believe?

BABY NEWS FINALLY CONFIRMED

They’re confirming what everyone already knew… Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are having a baby.  In their statement they say they “wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm” the news. Plus, I’m hearing Ashlee demanded they marry before going public. By the way, Ashlee has also announced that she’ll be hyphenating her name… She now wants to be called Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

CLOONEY SINGLE AGAIN

George Clooney is making some changes… he’s dumped his girlfriend of the last year, Sarah Larson. The two met when she served him drinks at a bar 4 years ago, then last year they moved in together. Now Sarah is moving out because a George apparently didn’t want to be tied down. Now that he’s back on the single scene, he also decided to up the ante when it comes to his looks (if that’s even possible). George has got a brand new set of teeth. Do you like his veneers? DUNST DENIES DRUG USE

Kristen Dunst is finally talking about her recent stint in rehab, but she’s claiming she wasn’t using. In a new interview she insists she only went to Cirque Lodge Treatment Center, where Lindsay went, to treat depression. Well, that’s interesting… since insiders say Cirque Lodge usually doesn’t treat patients suffering from only depression; they also have to battling drugs or alcohol. So is she lying? When it comes to actresses I never know what to believe… they are actresses after all!

CLAY’S HAVING A KID!?!?

Wow!!! I didn’t see this one coming!!!! Clay Aiken is going to be a daddy! Multiple sources say the mother is Jaymes Foster, a record producer and Clay’s best friend who he lives with when he’s in L.A. Foster, who produced several Aiken CDs, is due in August. She’s said to be in her late 40’s, while Aiken is 29. I’d call her a cougar… But I’m still not clear if there’s actually a romance going on. One insider says that Foster was artificially inseminated, but Clay plans to be an active daddy to the baby!

I’M NOT HAPPY… ‘cause somebody’s stealing my boyfriend!!! “Idol” winner David Cook enjoyed a date with season two alumni Kimberly Caldwell. On Tuesday’s Live With Regis and Kelly, David said they had a great time and they’ll “probably hang out again”… Also hanging out again… Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo. So what brought them back together? Sources say Tony “made it super-clear that if they were to give another go, her dad had to seriously back off.” This go-round is “a trial thing”. And finally, the media finally got Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan’s rumored girlfriend, on the record on their reported romance… Sam says… “Come on dude, not true!”

MADONNA’S ADOPTION APPROVED

It took nearly two years… but Madonna is officially a mommy again. A Malawai court today finally approved Madonna’s adoption of little David. The adoption has been controversial. Critics were accusing the government of ignoring laws that ban non-residents from adopting children in Malawi because Madge is a celebrity. Now that it’s official, expect more rumors of Madonna adopting again within minutes… 

REALITY SHOW COUPLE TYING THE KNOT

It’s amazing, but all their desperate attempts at attention actually work! Heidi Montag is on the cover of the new Us Weekly proclaiming “I’m ready to say I do!” In the article she says she’s finally realized that Spencer Pratt is her soulmate and she wants to marry him again. No word on when the wedding will happen, but I’m sure MTV will cover it wall to wall. All I can say is… heaven help you, Heidi! Heaven help you!

“CSI” STAR COPS A PLEA

Former “CSI” star Gary Dourdan has pled guilty to two of the felony possession charges against him, but won’t have to serve any jail time. The courts dropped the heroin charges against him, but he copped to the cocaine and ecstasy that were in his car when he was found sleeping in his car and arrested last month. Gary has been ordered to enter a treatment program and has to complete 16 classes. I’d say that probably a good thing considering…

LINDSAY’S DAD CONFIRMS HER NEW ROMANCE

It’s not like Lindsay Lohan was trying to keep her romance with a woman under wraps, since she and her BFF Samantha Ronson were seen making out in Cannes, but I’m betting she isn’t pleased her dad just outed her! Lindsay’s father, Michael, just said that Lindsay and Samantha’s romance “is evident to anyone with half a brain.” Also reports say the two have moved into together and may even be engaged after Lindsay was spotted wearing the ring below!

ANOTHER HOGAN ACCIDENT

Another Hogan was involved in a car accident over the weekend… this time Brooke was behind the wheel. But this accident was far different from the one her brother, Nick Hogan, was involved in that ended with his friend comatose and him in jail. Brooke was hit by another car after it blew a tire and went out of control. Thankfully, no one was hurt. Shortly after the accident Brooke posted on her MySpace page that Nick’s accident caused her and her passenger to put on their seatbelts and saved them from injuries…

They must be on again… Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo spent the weekend together in Dallas. While they were out witnesses say they weren’t lovey-dovey, but the seemed comfortable and relaxed with each other. On the other hand, it was a full on PDA alert for Kate Hudson and her new man, cyclist Lance Armstrong in Cannes this weekend. The new twosomes didn’t seem to care who was watching them make out in public!

RAY J. CAUGHT WITH DRUGS?

Ray J was partying a little too hard as far as the Hyatt was concerned! He and his entourage were thrown out of the Washington D.C. hotel early Saturday morning after staff allegedly found a stash of marijuana and a drug called “Boat” in Ray’s room. Sources say the singer tried to bribe hotel security to stay but it didn’t work. Apparently Ray J. went crazy… and own security came to the hotel and carted him away. Can’t say I’m too surprised… the dude did date Whitney Houston after all!

RAPPER’S SON DIES

It’s every parent worst nightmare and rapper, actor, and MTV host Xzibit is going through it… Sadly his newborn son passed away early yesterday morning… Little Xavier was born premature on May 15^th. On his blog, Xzibit said, “this week was extremely difficult for him because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own. Xavier passed away (yesterday) morning at 3:30am and I must tell you this, It is unatural for a parent to bury a child.” I can’t even imagine! Our thoughts and prayers are with him!

DOES LINDSAY HAVE A GIRLFRIEND?

There have been rumors for ages about Lindsay Lohan and her BFF DJ Samantha Ronson and just how close their relationship actually is… but the twosome added fuel to that fire in Cannes last night. Magazine is saying Star has made the whole story up! So how do you believe? Neither are totally reliable, but what’s strange, Keanu and Winona kind of make sense as an item… they’re both totally weird. It’d probably work!

ANOTHER STAR IN REHAB

Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler has checked into a drug rehabilitation clinic.  The center is the same place Dr. Drew treated patients for VH1’s Celebrity Rehab, although Steven isn’t involved with the show. His rep knew nothing about the trip to rehab, and sources would only reveal that Tyler is battling “substance abuse”. His come through addiction before… hopefully he can do it again!

Nick Hogan is reportedly having a tough go of it in prison… he was recently overheard telling his mother that he isn’t sure if he could make it the full 8 month he’s been sentenced to… adding, It’s like the size of my bathroom. Did Shania Twain’s marriage crumble because her secretary stole her man? Not according to the secretary! ANOTHER SECRET CELEBRITY WEDDING

 Apparently Jessica Alba didn’t get tips on how to throw a quick surprise wedding from Mariah Carey. She secretly wed her boyfriend, Cash Warren, at the Beverly Hills courthouse on Monday. The couple applied for a marriage license and as soon as the paper worked cleared, they stepped in the courthouse’s ceremony room and got married surrounded by fake flowers instead of any of their families! Why in such a hurry to wed? The couple I’m sure wanted to keep it private. Plus, they’re expecting a baby girl this summer!

R. KELLY TRIAL FINALLY STARTS

It feels like the O.J. trial all over again… after 6 years R. Kelly child porn trial finally started yesterday, but the defense team is using some crafty ways to get the singer acquitted! They claim that Kelly couldn’t possibly be the man in the videotape central to the trial because he has a large mole on his lower back which the man in the tape doesn’t have. The defense also says that the underage victim also isn’t in the sex tape. Instead they claim the whole video is faked with a Kelly look-a-like and a prostitute. Interesting strategy!

THE STARS CAME OUT IN G’VEGAS!

I witnessed some Diva Dish right here in Greenville on Friday night. While out enjoying the Diva Lounge at 221 North, in walked Luke Wilson, Dennis Quaid, Greg Kinnear and Patrick Walburton! They were all in town for the BMW Pro Am. While three out of the four were nice enough to talk to me for a bit and pose for pictures… one was far too busy choosing a lady for the night. Luke Wilson bee-lined it for one of the bartenders and immediately asked if she could have the night off. After a few drinks at the bar, Luke and the lovely lady left together! Guess his suite doesn’t come with a cute bartender?!?!

ASHLEE AND PETE WED

It was a big weekend for Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz… not only did they tie the knot on Saturday, they also confirmed to their wedding guests that they are in fact expecting a baby. And yes, Jessica was there with Tony Romo, despite the fact that they broke up. Reports say it was Joe Simpson who begged Romo to show up to “support the family”. I don’t know about you, but I’d kill my father if he made my ex come as my date to my sister’s wedding. Talk about awkward!! It should be noted though, that Jess’ rep is still denying a break-up all together!

But it’s not surprising that new reports say she planning a party to end all parties to celebrate her marriage to Nick Cannon! An insider says in the next 6 weeks, Carey plans to have a 2^nd wedding that will include 2,000 guests and a budget of $4 million. Now that the Mariah that we all know and envy!!

MORE BRANGELINA TWIN NEWS

Angelina Jolie co-stars sure have a way of spilling the beans… First, Jack Black revealed Angie and Brad are indeed having twins during an interview yesterday at Cannes Film Festival. Then Dustin Hoffman let slip in a separate interview that Jolie’s due date is August 19th. As for the sex of the babies… so far that’s the only thing people are still guessing about!

Is Angie just messing with us… apparently Angelina just went on French TV and said that she’ll be giving birth to the twins in a few weeks… Aug 19th is a few months! I’m betting they’re throwing out different date to throw everybody off!

MARIAH EXPECTING?

In the past Mariah Carey has said that having children is “part of the whole purpose of getting married.” Well, now she married and the rumor mill is going into overdrive! Mariah’s rep is insisting she’s not pregnant, yet… but someone should tell that to her assistant! She just contacted the baby store to the stars, Petit Tresor, to chat about nursery decor. She wanted fabric samples sent and asked if its designers could work with the theme of butterflies! I don’t know about anybody else… but my son’s nursery wasn’t under construction until I was already pregnant!!!

ANNE HECHE CLAIMING SHE’S BROKE

In Hollywood things can change FAST… just a few years ago Anne Heche was an in demand actress who was dating Ellen, now she’s out of work, going through a divorce and broke! In court yesterday a judge told her she didn’t have to pay her nearly $15,000 a month child support payment to her ex for the month of July. Heche asked for help from the court because she says she hasn’t work since January because her show “Men In Trees” was cancelled and she’s $364,000 in debt. Wow! And I thought my credit card habit was bad?!?!

BRITNEY AND MEL BONDING

Britney Spears has just left on vacation with Mel Gibson… No, there’s nothing sordid going on! At least I think not! The pair (along with their family members) is heading down to
Costa Rica. However Britney isn’t taking the kids because they aren’t allowed outside the
US without special approval. This isn’t the first time Brit and Mel have bonded… they’re neighbors, in fact, and have dined together several times! Guess reformed crazy people have a lot in common!

IT’S DEFINITELY TWINS!It happened by accident, but it still happened… this afternoon while being interviewed at the Cannes Film Festival about their new movie, Kung Fu Panda, Jack Black let it slip that Angelina Jolie is expecting twins!! Jolie, sitting right next to him, didn’t seem upset… she then finally confirmed that she and Brad Pitt are awaiting the arrival of babies number 5 and 6!!! She wouldn’t reveal, though, the sex of the babies. 

FENDER-BENDER FOR BRITNEYBritney Spears may be doing a lot better, but girl still can’t drive! Last night she rear-ended a car on Sunset Blvd. in Beverly Hills. Brit was sitting at a red light, when she suddenly accelerated for no reason, rear-ending a red Ford Explorer, driven by a lady. There weren’t any injuries… in fact Brit didn’t even bother to get out of the car. Her bodyguard got out and talked to the other woman. Then the red Explorer seemed to be following Britney to her home, so they could take care of business in private! Wow… she really has grown! She didn’t just leave the scene of the crime this time… Britney! I’m so proud!!!

Speaking of quick… The wedding for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon happened so fast, most their friends and families weren’t there. But the couple wasn’t about to not celebrate with EVERYONE!! They rented out Six Flags Magic Mountain in California, on Tuesday night for a lavish party to celebrate their marriage. The entire park was closed down so that the newlyweds could party in private!  

WHO DOES SIMON LIKE?Tonight we find out who the final two will be, but Simon had a clear favorite… in an interview in Blender magazine Cowell says he thinks David Cooke “done more to deserve it” since he’s taken so many risks. As for the other fan favorite, David Archuletta… Simon hints that he thins he has no personality. THANK YOU!!! Finally someone agrees with me! That kids like a robot! I’m gonna say it… Archuletta shouldn’t win “American Idol”!! And now I have to go get a bodyguard, because I’m sure his rabid fans have just put a hit out on me!! 

WHY DID JEESICA AND TONY END?Did Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo break up because she never got over John Mayer? Us Weekly claims that the same day John went public with his new relationship with Jennifer Aniston, Jessica was seen getting trashed with her best girlfriend, Cacee Cobb. So drunk in fact, that after four hours and Casey throwing up under the table, Simpson had to call her mother to come get her. Also that night Tony was out, without Jess, and telling anybody who’d listen that he was single! The worst part about all this… reports say Jessica’s sister, Ashlee, is getting married this Saturday. It’s not fun to go alone and broken-hearted to a wedding!
